Salomon 900 Hoodie Zip Women's
Salomon 900 Hoodie - A Great Softshell Hoodie!
by dlru
Pros: A versatile item for layering or outer shell that wears very well.
Cons: Only use as a layering piece for very cold days.
First of all, I need to admit that I have a slight addiction to jackets, and I have a quiver of them because it seems like I need a jacket for every potential weather condition for each season.  I have owned the Salomon 900 Hoodie for about ...

Surefire 6P BK 6P Original Personal Flashlight Black
Tough, compact, high performance flashlight
by blackzipper
Pros: Tough construction, compact size, high performance
Cons: Short battery life, expensive batteries, no low setting
I got the Surefire 6P as a gift a couple years ago. I don't use it daily, but it is very solid and seems indestructible. It is also very bright. Having no knowledge of tactical flashlights when I received it, the first thing I did was look at the ...

Drastically shortens battery life, little noticeable benefit
by blackzipper
Pros: Brightest Surefire drop-in available for the 6P, G2, etc.

Inova X1 Led Sportlight
Very handy pocket sized light
by ny_reviewer
Pros: Great quailty, great design, small, bright, uses AA batteries.  Very durable.
Cons: Finicky momentary tail cap, not bright enough for outdoors past about 15 feet.
The X1 is the first INOVA light I bought.  I was impressed by its appearant brightness (in the store, it is uncomfortable to look right at the light when it's on), its small size, its momentary tailcap switch, and the fact that it runs on AA ...
